Dave Ramsey is an American writer, television host & radio DJ. He primarily deals with financial topics in his writing, T.V and radio shows, helping many Americans, and people all over the world to rid themselves of debt.
His radio show, The Dave Ramsey Show, is a three-hour program that airs Monday - Friday from 2 till 5 EST, and is heard on over 300 radio stations throughout the US and Canada. During the show he will take live calls and aim to solve the financial problems of callers.
His Televison show, also called The Dave Ramsey Show, is broadcast on Fox Business Network Monday - Friday at 8pm ET. Again, the main aim of the show is to help callers with their financial problems.

The Debt Snowball
One of the techniques that Dave advocates is the'Debt Snowball'. This method involves paying off your smallest debt first, in order to create a momentum that will hopefully carry you to the finish line of debt freedom.
Though it may seem more obvious to pay the highest interest debts first, this method has been successful for many people who were fighting an uphill battle against seemingly insurmountable debt.
